First Consultation
A 60-minute conversation about your history, lifestyle and goals. You leave with a written investigation plan — not a treatment plan, not yet.
- Weeks 1 – 302 / 09
Investigations
Hormone profile (AMH, FSH, LH, TSH, prolactin), pelvic ultrasound with antral follicle count, semen analysis, and any indicated genetic or immunological tests.
- Week 403 / 09
Plan-Of-Care Meeting
We sit down again, walk through every result, and present age-honest probability of success across two or three reasonable pathways.
- Cycle Day 1 – 1204 / 09
Ovarian Stimulation
Daily self-administered injections (we teach you in clinic), with 3 – 4 ultrasound scans to track follicle growth and adjust doses.
- Cycle Day 1305 / 09
Egg Retrieval
A 20-minute procedure under light sedation. You go home within two hours and rest for the remainder of the day.

Fertilisation & Culture
Eggs are fertilised by IVF or ICSI. Embryos are cultured in undisturbed time-lapse incubators to the blastocyst stage.

Embryo Transfer Or Freeze
Most patients freeze all embryos and transfer in a later cycle — gentler on the body, often higher success.

Pregnancy Test
A blood beta-hCG, followed by a viability scan two weeks later. We are with you for both.

Graduation To Obstetrics
Once a heartbeat is confirmed, we hand you over to your obstetrician — with a full written handover.

How much does an IVF cycle cost?

A standard IVF/ICSI cycle at Verdant IVF ranges from ₹1.85 – 2.65 lakh, depending on medication dose and add-ons. We provide an itemised written quote at your plan-of-care meeting.
How many cycles will I need?

Most patients under 35 conceive within two well-planned cycles. We do not encourage patients to undertake more than three full cycles without a serious reassessment of strategy.
Is the process painful?

Stimulation injections are typically described as a quick pinch. Egg retrieval is done under sedation and is not felt. Embryo transfer is no more uncomfortable than a smear test.
